October 27th 2010, marked the 100-year anniversary of KONE. To commemorate this significant milestone in the company’s history, KONE’s first People Flow Day was organized on the same day.
KONE targeted six different building types to focus on for the day: Hotel, Office, Medical, Transportation, residential and retail. Over 600 KONE employees went out to target sites to meet users and see the buildings during typical usage or to meet a customer from one of these target building types.
Close to 100 people from throughout Australia participated over 17 different sites.
“As a customer driven company, this event further shows our dedication as we strive to build our understanding of our customers and their end-users, “says Kim Godwin, Global Project Manager for the event. ”People Flow Day was also an opportunity for our employees to see in action what our vision means for KONE. They acted as a researchers, gathering information on users, customers and markets.”
