The KONE Polaris destination control system increases capacity, reduces passenger waiting times, and adapts quickly to changing traffic conditions. It increases the handling capacity of an elevator group in a high-rise building by 20 to 100% for incoming traffic during peak periods – but this is not at the expense of passenger comfort. On the contrary, car loads are low, and passenger comfort is high, compared to elevator groups using a conventional control system.
