The KONE C-series also gives you flexibility in finetuning the functionality of your office elevator.
We offer several accessory packages that improve energy-efficiency, security and people flow, for example.
KONE is a pioneer in regenerative systems, which can recover 90% of the braking energy back into the network. Over the lifetime of the elevator, the energy savings can be considerable. LED lights last much longer than halogen lights and can be combined with standby lightning and ventilation to further increase energy savings.
This package ensures that the elevator meets the requirements of ADA, the European standard for elevator usage by people with disabilities. The curtain of light door safety device immediately stops and re-opens closing elevator doors.
These options increase the security of the elevator passengers and occupants of the building. This includes locking of car calls and landing calls functionality, preventing unauthorized use and access to locked floors.
The Safety package includes fire safety, power failure and door opening features. For example, in case of a power failure, the emergency battery drive takes the elevator to the nearest floor and allows passengers to exit.
