If you are having difficulties viewing our pages, most browsers allow users to change the settings to alter the way pages are displayed, which may improve readability. Most browsers allow you to change the size of the font by choosing option “View” and “Text size” in your browser.

Standard compliance

In our work to improve the site we are continuously reviewing and improving the site according to the W3 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. This site will be updated to outline which sections allign with the guidelines.

 

These are some of the actions KONE has taken to improve the accessibility of the site:

  • Page structure is conveyed using header elements.
  • A stylesheet is used on our websites.
  • Font-sizes are specified using relative units of measurement but from those included in images.
  • Images that convey important information (not decorative purpose) have alternative text.
  • A site map is available to provide information about the layout of the website.
  • Our pages are designed so that all relevant information can be viewed at a screen resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels
