Moscow’s skyline has been changing dramatically over the past couple years. The Moscow International Business Center, also known as Moscow-City, is a massive under-taking in the heart of Russia’s capital.
The Moscow-City complex encompasses over 3 million square meters and sees between 350,000 and 500,000 people daily. From left to right, the Naberezhnaya Tower complex, the Capital City towers and the Imperia Tower.
The city within a city will comprise of 19 multi-purpose complexes creating nearly four million square meters of new real estate. In fact, four of Europe’s tallest buildings will be in Moscow-City.
Currently Europe’s tallest building, Capital City, has just been erected as part of the Moscow-City project and is the biggest KONE project in Russia to date. It is the first building with KONE double-decker elevators in Russia. This and other high-tech KONE solutions, such as Destination Control, ensure smooth and easy movement through Moscow-City’s residential, office and retail spaces.
When fully complete, Moscow-City will have 198 KONE elevators and 60 KONE escalators.
