KONE elevators come with a choice of signalisation systems, which include car operating panel (COP), car operating features and landing devices.

Car operating panel
The car operating panels are made of durable brushed stainless steel and are finished in Asturias Satin.
Car operating features
The key button for a PIN code enables access to special control options (e.g. to give priority to VIP calls, temporary goods transportation etc.) and to control the operation of the optional fan.
The Quick Close Call option is an additional feature to the door close button. To improve elevator performance, doors start to close immediately after a call button is pressed.
For security reasons the control system can be set to stop the elevator at the main floor (where security personnel are located).
Landing devices
The car operating panel can be finished in Asturias Satin or Murano Mirror stainless steel.
The Quick Close Call option is an additional feature to the close doors button. It starts to close the doors immediately after a call button is pressed. If the doors are re-opened, the close doors button can then be pressed to re-initiate closing.
For security reasons the control system can be set to stop on the main floor (where security personnel are located). Security settings can also be changed via the E-Link remote monitoring feature.
As a security function, an interface for badge readers can be provided to ensure that tenants have access only to their floors.
