It is powered by the gearless, highly efficient permanent magnet KONE EcoDisc® machine, which has extremely low levels of wear and reduces energy consumption to half that of a comparable geared or hydraulic installation. It needs no oil, reducing the risk of fire and eliminating oil spills.
