Activation and safety: we can provide a variety of activation methods for our sectional overhead doors, depending on site conditions and usage requirements, with all necessary safety features.

All ours sectional overhead doors can be operated by a variety of methods, dependant on usage requirements and door size. Please see table below.
Cable break monitor: In the event of the cable breaking, the device will activate, and prevent any further descent of the sectional overhead door.
Self monitoring safety edge: Detects when the sectional overhead door impacts against an object in its path; stops the door and returns it within the parameters laid down in the limitation of forces, and admissible dynamic forces.
Photocells: Photobeam safety devices detects movement into the danger area of a moving door, and stops the door until the obstruction has cleared. Two types are available: reflective - where a beam is sent from a transmitter and reflects back to a receiver in the same unit and send and receive - where a beam is sent from a transmitter in one unit to a receiver on the opposite side of the door.
Anti drop device: In the event of a spring breaking, the device will activate to prevent the shaft from turning, hence stopping any further descent of the door opening table of BS EN12453.
