The Energy Technology List  

The drives used in KONE escalators and autowalks are on the Carbon Trust's Energy Technology List (ETL) under the variable speed drives category. This means that by purchasing qualifying KONE equipment, you are eligible for The Enhanced Capital Allowance scheme (ECA) for energy saving technology. The scheme allows businesses who have invested in technology on the ETL to claim:

• 100% first year tax relief on qualifying expenditure.
• A cash flow boost and incentive to invest in energy-saving equipment.

How do you apply?

• Check with your sales representative which escalator or autowalk product qualifies. On order, we will issue you an invoice stating the qualifying product name and reference number for your tax return.
