Storage King's objective was to make all their on-site doors compliant with current UK standards, plus modernise the doors where required and allow for 24/7 access.
The main challenges were ensuring that each site was ready for opening on time and that all doors were safe and ready to use.
KONE provide maintenance to over 140 industrial and pedestrian doors, internal and external, including sectional doors, roller shutters, automatic pedestrian doors, fire exits and gates, across their 18 sites. As per the customers requirements, KONE have upgraded the doors at various sites and fitted access control systems to allow the 24/7 access.
