Interserve required KONE to provide door maintenance on hundreds of their doors. This was a mixture of pedestrian and industrial, external and internal doors and includes fire roller shutters, automatic pedestrian doors (revolving, swing and sliding), security grilles and manual fire doors across the 4 sites.
As indicated by the customer, the door maintenance contract was won by KONE because of the extensive UK coverage of the KONE service centre, our competitive costing, focus on safety and most importantly the back-up service offered (e.g. for emergency call outs).
