Having proven our outstanding performance (due to an existing relationship) and ability to deliver lift installation on time and within budget, KONE successfully won the contract based on competitive price being offered but more specifically, the excellent customer service that was provided.
KONE were proud to contribute to the success of the project which won numerous awards. Victoria Wharf's Production Director, Stephen Vorres of Taylor Woodrow Construction, won the NHBC (National House Building Council) UK Supreme Award (multi-storey category) and CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) Construction Manager of the Year Awards. This was due to exceptional site management, professionalism on site, organisation of the site and the quality controls in place.
