Tips for owners 

• Watch for unusual conditions - Check regularly for unusual operation, sounds or vibration, contact us to promptly resolve them.
• Keep floor areas clean and clear - Make sure the floor of the elevator and the hallway floors are free of rubbish and slippery substances, make sure no obstructions block the smooth flow of traffic.
• Check the door sill grooves - Grooves in the door sills help guide the doors. Debris in the grooves can interfere with proper door operation. Have someone vacuum the sill grooves regularly.
• Maintain proper lighting - Passengers need adequate lighting to watch where they're going, both in the car and in the hallways. Always have broken lights repaired promptly.
• Maintain proper machine room temperatures - Too much heat in a machine room can adversely affect the lift system. For hydraulic elevators, either too much or too little heat can impact the proper levelling of the cars and lead to tripping accidents.
• Be sure ceiling panels are secured - Loose ceiling panels can pose a hazard to passengers. Keep an eye out for any that may have been moved by someone carrying tall items in the elevator.
• Restrict machine room access - No one should be permitted into the machine room except trained elevator technicians.

• Check the step grooves and comb plates -  Debris in the step grooves or comb plates can interfere with proper operation. If debris evident switch off the unit and have someone remove the debris.
• Maintain proper lighting - Passengers need adequate lighting to watch where they're going, both while approaching and riding on the escalator or autowalk. Always have broken lights repaired promptly.
• Safety Guards and Barriers - Ensure safety guards and barriers are inspected regularly and replace immediately when broken or damaged.
• Improper use - Be vigilant and ensure the escalators or autowalks are used correctly by passengers, in particular children
