KONE MonoSpace™ was the world’s first practical, affordable and efficient machine-room less (MRL) elevator concept.
Today, KONE leads the industry with over 200,000 MonoSpace® applications.
The Machine room less (MRL) solution eliminates the need for machine room. Also because the walls do not carry the hoisting load, this in significance construction cost saving with KONE's Monospace solution.
KONE EcoDisc® is the core technology of all our Gearless elevators.
It employs a permanent magnet synchronous motor, frequency control, and low friction gearless construction.
A reliable machine - The KONE EcoDisc® is a low revolving gearless motor with extremely low levels of wear.
It incorporates a axial permanent magnet rotor that constitues the single moving part.
More efficient than traditional machines.
The KONE EcoDisc® needs less starting current, consumes less power and needs no oil.
Less starting current means a smaller back-up generator which saves costs.
The gearless machine solution means no losses due to inefficient gears resulting in savings in running energy costs.
Cost-saver-Significant cost savings are achieved by the use of lower duty risers and fuses, made possible by a peak starting current of just 30 to 40 percent of equivalent traction units.
A smooth ride - The KONE EcoDisc’s low rotational motor speeds, combined with the V3F Drive system offers unrivalled ride comfort.
Car - KONE offers a range of World class Car designs that are localised to blend and merge with the traditional culture of India. This new car design called KONE Four Seasons™ is striking and stylish. The design is inspired by variety and beauty of Indian four seasons which are Spring, Summer, Monsoon and Winter. The GLx series for commercial buildings and Lx series for residential buildings, in all have 24 car designs to choose from KONE Lx series & KONE GLx series. Signalisation - KONE Four seasons cars uses KDS series, landing signalisation to give harmonized pleasing appearance.
