Kone Monospace provides fully automatic sliding doors. Simply push the call button, the lift will arrive open the doors for a preset time (adjustable) then close the doors. Smooth and quiet.
Manual swing doors need to be pulled open against the force of a hydraulic door closer mechanism, held open whilst you enter the lift and closes as you release the pressure on the door. Over time the door closer wears and as the closer provides pressure to keep the door shut can cause poor connections with the lift door safety locking switches.
Kone Monospace requires 3 phase 415v power. By spreading the power over 3 phases we can provide more consistant and reliable control of the elevator motor for super smooth acceleration and decceleration exact leveling.

A cantilever system has all the equipment mounted on one structurally engineered wall, as the lift is hanging off one wall the guides wear and can cause hydraulic systems to become misaligned and wearing seals can become a long term problem. If roller guides are used they commonly get a flatspot where the lift is parked causing a rough ride in your lift.
The elevator is design is durable, solid & constructed for long life it has a variety of safety and operational equipment attached under the floor of the elevator and above the elevator ceiling to fully comply with relevant codes for lifts travelling at the speed of 1m/sec. Generally it will take 26 weeks from placement of order to delivery of materials. Installation duration depends on the height of the building and the number of floors served. For instance a 4 stop elevator will take approximately 4 weeks to install.

So, a maintenance regime can be planned to suit your equipment's needs and your budget. The elevator shaft contains electrical equipment which is not waterproof. When this equipment is subject to moisture it can be hazardous and will affect the performance of the equipment in the future if not immediately.
The lift shaft can be constructed from any materials that can withstand the loads applied by the elevator and meet local building code requirements. For example in situ concrete, prefabricated concrete, core filled reinforced concrete blocks, steel and glass towers even timber construction has been used in HOMELIFTS not requiring fire rating.
