Shanghai's Hongqiao International Airport

Shanghai’s Hongqiao International Airport is the city’s second international airport and currently the fourth busiest in China, serving a rapidly growing metropolis with a population larger than that of many countries. Once a domestic airport, Hongqiao is now an international hub as well as a critical portal to inland China. The connected ground transportation center acts as an interchange station for five different metro lines, a bus terminal, the high-speed train line to Beijing, and the Maglev train with a connection to Pudong airport.
