Lisle, Ill. – More than 400 employees from KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, helped beautify a Chicago-area local organization that provides care and support for abused and neglected children last week as part of KONE Inc.’s 2010 Sales Seminar.
The employees arrived in shifts to help beautify The Youth Campus by planting flowers and shrubs, pulling weeds and painting buildings, doors and picnic tables.
“In addition to our steadfast environmental commitment to our solutions and technologies we offer, KONE believes in its responsibility to promote progress and development within local communities,” remarks Kellie Lindquist, Marketing Manager for KONE Inc. “Beautifying The Youth Campus gave us the perfect opportunity to make the environment better for children who receive this much-needed support.”
