KONE has acquired Brown Elevator Inc., an independent elevator service company based in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Brown Elevator is one of the most trusted companies in the Connecticut elevator industry. Their strong team has steadily grown its service base since opening for business in 1967.
Brown and KONE will combine their elevator operations under the KONE name in the coming months. “We are energized by this opportunity to combine our operations with a company that has more than 40 years of experience in the local markets. This acquisition will further strengthen our ability to serve the many current and potential customers throughout Connecticut.” says Vance Tang, KONE EVP and Area Director for the Americas.
Over the past 42 years, Brown has grown their service business through a strong focus on customer satisfaction and by delivering a consistently high level of elevator maintenance and repair.
