Train to the plane 

Recently, KONE also won an order to provide 33 high-end elevators for the Delhi Airport Metro Express Line. Part of the greater Delhi metro project, this new metro line is being constructed to provide direct connectivity from the existing metro stations to the Delhi International Airport.

The 22.7 kilometer (14.1 mile) high-speed link, which is slated to run at about 135 kilometers (84 miles) per hour, will take passengers from the New Delhi Railway station directly to the international airport in just 18 minutes. The project is estimated for completion before the Commonwealth Games in July 2010.
