Many different types of vertical and horizontal traffic flow must be accommodated in a building as complex as a concert hall. Large crowds arrive and depart within short periods of time by car, taxi, bus, subway and on foot. In addition, there is the constant flow of curious visitors, restaurant patrons, personnel and services.
The five levels of the exceptional building are served by 15 KONE elevators and by 14 new and four modernized escalators. Particular care has been given to the special needs in a performance building: vertical transportation must flow smoothly, without any noise or vibration disturbance in performance or rehearsal spaces.
