SMM is the leading international platform for new marine technology and innovation, bringing together all the key decision makers in world shipbuilding. SMM is the world's leading shipbuilding trade fair and is considered to be the "must attend" event within the industry. In 2008 the exhibition attracted over 53 000 visitors and 1900 exhibitors from 100 nations.
KONE Marine has a great stand location in Hall B1 and is a part of the joint Finnish Pavilion. This year our presence at the exhibition is a part of global KONE 100 years anniversary celebration and we will arrange lots of interesting activities during the exhibition days. For example, visitors participate in our KONE 100 years quiz and win a surprising gift. KONE will also participate in a joint cocktail party at the Finnish Pavilion on Wednesday, September 9. And on Thursday, September 9, we will celebrate KONE 100 anniversary at our KONE stand.
