“Oasis of the Seas”

The Oasis of the Seas will be the world’s largest and most extraordinary cruise ship when launched in late 2009. She will be more than 40% larger than the largest cruise ships afloat, spanning 16 decks, encompassing 220,000 GT, featuring 2700 staterooms, and carrying 5400 passengers at double occupancy — a number once thought unthinkable in the cruise business. Construction started on December 11, 2007 at Aker Yards in Turku, Finland. The ship will operate Caribbean cruises out of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. |
