In addition to the normal right-angle wall joint, KONE also offers round-cornered cars especially for the hospital environment, where hygiene is the first consideration. KONE’s optional round-corner design is much easier to clean than a right-angle joint. The deep car can optionally be equipped with stainless round handrails and solid wood buffer rails to protect the car wall from bumps by beds and medical equipment. In the ceiling, soft illumination prevents disturbance to the patient on the bed.
