How do the spare parts get to our customers?
Orders received by 1:00 pm CET daily for materials in stock in our warehouse will be shipped the same day. For articles not in stock in our warehouse our customer service in KONE Spares (GSS) will propose a certain delivery time. These proposed delivery times are non-binding, although KONE Spares will measure its own performance in relation to this proposed delivery time (service level performance).
Our fundamental principle is being able to assist our customers as fast as possible, regardless of whether they are internal or external. We fully understand that availability of spare parts is the most important issue in the after sales market.
Our inventory control system (SAP R/3) regularly evaluates the minimum inventory and lot-size determination. Regular evaluations guarantee that we always have the right materials available for our customers.
We use UPS for shipping our parts to customers. Being our in-house supplier, UPS`s system is fully integrated into our website, allowing our customers to track their shipments directly from our site.
Our customers know from experience that the staff at KONE Spares (GSS) always help as quickly as they can.

Function: Manager GSS Direct Sales and Pricing
Tomi has a background in automation engineering and in the telecommunication power business. With over 20 years' of experience in different tasks, Tomi educated himself towards sales and marketing and became responsible for key accounts, direct customers, partners and distributors in the EMEA area and Asia. Tomi’s latest area of responsibility was in product management where he worked as Product Solution Manager, leading product development projects, training and supporting sales and marketing. He joined KONE GSS at the beginning of 2010 looking for a new challenge. His goals are to continue consistent pricing and to develop the elevator, escalator and door business together with you.
