Stay on Corporate siteEeva Mäkelä, (32), M.Sc.Econ, CEFA, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Investor Relations and Communications of Kone Cargotec and a member of the executive committee effective 1 April, 2005.
She will be responsible for the company’s investor relations and corporate communications and report to CEO, Carl-Gustaf Bergström.
At the beginning of June 2005, KONE Corporation will split into two separate companies, Kone Corporation and Cargotec Corporation. Following the split, Mäkelä will continue to be responsible for the investor relations and corporate communications of Cargotec Corporation.
Previously, Mäkelä was Vice President Investor Relations of Metso Corporation in charge of investor relations and financial communications. Prior positions include working as an equity analyst for the brokerage firm, Mandatum.
