KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has been ranked 48th on the list of the world's top 100 most innovative companies by the business magazine Forbes. Featured on the list for the fifth year in a row, KONE ranks as the 5th most innovative company in Europe.

Forbes magazine's ranking is based on a metric called the "Innovation Premium": the difference between their market capitalization and a net present value of cash flows from existing businesses.
