Stay on Corporate siteKONE has won an order to supply elevators and escalators for Leatop Plaza in Guangzhou, China. The office building measuring 303 meters will contain 33 elevators and two escalators. This will be the highest building KONE will have supplied in China.
The order includes five KONE MonoSpace® and 28 KONE MiniSpace™ and two KONE TravelMaster escalators. Together these solutions will ensure the energy-efficient people flow on the 64 floors of the building and to and from the underground car park and public transportation hub.

Leatop Plaza office building is located in the Zhujiang New Town central business district of Guangzhou, China. The building will use auto sun-shade tracking system, air-conditioning and elevator energy feedback technology, energy-efficient LED lighting among other cutting-edge eco-efficient technologies. The simple and transparent main tower resembles an ice crystal emerging from the ground. Its crisp geometry, crowned by a sharp sloped roof top, will be an important element of the Guangzhou skyline. The building is expected to be completed in 2010.
