Stay on Corporate siteKONE has been awarded two major orders, one in the U.K. and one in Russia.
In the U.K, KONE has secured the elevator order for the New Street Square project in London. The project, consisting of four buildings of retail, leisure and office space, is being developed by Land Securities, Europe’s largest property developer. KONE will supply 37 elevators of various types for the project. The total value of the order will exceed EUR 10 million.
KONE has also been chosen to provide 28 elevators and four escalators for the Naberezhnaya Tower C, part of a three-building project under construction in Moscow. The elevators will include one 6-car group of KONE Alta™ elevators at 8.0 m/s. When completed, the 56-story Naberezhnaya Tower C will be one of the tallest buildings in Europe at more than 250 meters high. KONE has already secured orders to provide elevators for the earlier phases of the project.
