Stay on Corporate siteOn 18 June an Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders of KONE Corporation elected CEO and deputy chairman of the Board of Directors Antti Herlin chairman of the Board.
Antti Herlin will succeed long-standing chairman Pekka Herlin, who passed away on 4 April 2003.
The number of Board members was ratified at six. No new Board members were elected. In addition to Antti Herlin, the Board includes Gerhard Wendt, Iiro Viinanen, Jean-Pierre Chauvarie, Hiroshi Nishioka and Matti Alahuhta.
