Every year we offer students and graduates opportunities to work and develop with interesting projects. Most KONE internships require studies in business, engineering or information technology, but there are also positions for students from other disciplines.
The KONE International Trainee Program (ITP) is for university and polytechnic students who are at least halfway through their studies. Good English language skills are essential for an International Trainee. In many cases you should also be familiar with the language of the host country. In the program you will face interesting challenges and become acquainted with KONE as an international company. ITP is also an excellent stepping-stone to a career with KONE!
Internships last from three to six months, and usually begin in April or May. If you are selected for the ITP, we cover your travel costs to the host country and back, and pay a trainee salary. The local KONE unit will help arrange your accommodation and will assign a contact person to whom you can turn for support. It will be your responsibility to obtain personal insurance, residence and work permits (if applicable) before departure.
The next application period for the KONE International Trainee Program is January 7th - February 9th 2009 and you can apply only in this website.
