The KONE automatic sliding door operator is equipped with KONE smart door technology. The intelligent control system uses a state-of-the art microprocessor with self-learning fuzzy logic technology and continuously runs self-checking and correcting diagnostics on the automatic door system. The automatic door operator is simple to programme and can be easily adjusted to suit the environment’s people flow needs.
Standard safety features include reverse opening if an obstruction is in the way of the automatic sliding door opening or closing cycle. For emergency situations, an intelligent break out system is in place. This system allows the automatic sliding door to open to its full opening width when an emergency arises.
Self monitoring computer: Includes, among other functions, programmable opening/closing speed, opening time, opening width, several timing functions, manual learning function and obstacle safety.
Motion detectors and safety sensors: Including push buttons, switches, 1 and 2 way radardetectors, infrared motion detectors and safety sensors, photo cells. Connection for max. 4 tested sensors, including side panel safety according to standard EN12650.
Fire alarm connection: Doors will drive themselves open and remain open in the event of a fire alarm.
Self monitoring system for the battery back up: Again doors will drive themselves open and remain open if the battery condition falls below the required level or in the event of a mains power failure.
Obstacle safety: Highly sensitive reverse switch, standard factory programming in control unit
Photo cell safety: Guarded and tested, prior to every door closing cycle. Mounted in the dooropening, the control unit tests on every door cycle the function of the photo cells.
Manual emergency release (optional): Manually operated release for emergency situations andto release a locked electrical lock during a power failure. Installation in or outside the cover.
Door weight: Single leaf maximum of 180 kg., double leaf maximum of 2 x 120 kg.
Control unit: Power supply for peripheral equipment 12 Vdc or 24 Vdc, maximum 800 mA.
