KONE has acquired Omega Elevator Company, an independent elevator service company in San Diego with a very credible presence in the local area.
Omega and KONE are combining their elevator operations under the KONE name during the coming months. “We are thrilled to be strengthening our position in the San Diego market through this strong partnership with Omega,” says Vance Tang, KONE EVP and Area Director for the Americas.
Omega Elevator Company is privately owned and is focused on elevator maintenance, repairs and modernization. They currently employ 21 people.
Omega has consistently grown their elevator maintenance business by delivering good customer service. “The combined Omega – KONE teams welcome the opportunity to continue to offer outstanding service to Omega and KONE customers. We also offer a warm welcome to the new team members from Omega Elevator joining KONE through this acquisition,” Vance concludes.
