KONE has acquired Master Elevator Company, a well established independent elevator service company with business in the greater Chicago area. Through this acquisition KONE further solidifies its strong position in the Chicago area, one of the largest markets in North America.
Master Elevator and KONE are combining their operations under the KONE name during the coming months. “We are excited for the addition of these new customers and employees in such an important market for KONE” says Vance Tang, KONE EVP and Area Director for the Americas.
Master Elevator Company has successfully operated in the Chicago market since 1971. They are privately owned and are focused on elevator maintenance, repairs and modernization.
Master has consistently grown their elevator maintenance business by delivering quality customer service. “The combined Master – KONE teams welcome the opportunity to continue to offer outstanding service to Master and KONE customers. We also offer a warm welcome to the new team members from Master Elevator joining KONE through this acquisition,” Vance concludes.
