The world is changing

How can we help you?

  • KONE DX Concept Car

    Digital people flow

    Giving you predictability, not surprises

By connecting elevators, providing transparent real-time visibility of assets in use with myKONE customer tool and using AI, we can help you to identify up to 80% of failures before they happen. With KONE, you get clearer insight, more predictable performance, and faster, remote support – often before issues cause disruption. And we already do this across more than 800,000 units globally.

  • Woman in a dark setting

    More sustainable people flow

Helping you cut cost, carbon and energy

As buildings generate 40% of global carbon emissions, we know you need solutions that deliver impact fast. KONE technology can help you cut energy use dramatically – with UltraRope® hoisting technology reducing elevator energy consumption by up to 40%, and regenerative drive technology recovering up to 75% of braking energy back into the building’s grid. People-flow data, combined with partner technology, takes these benefits further – helping you optimize HVAC systems and reduce annual building energy consumption by up to 36%. Beyond energy savings, material‑efficient modernization and digital connectivity further cut carbon, improve reliability, and extend building life.

    Modernized people flow

    Because your time matters

Traditional modernization can take weeks or months of disruption. That’s why at KONE we redesigned modernization around speed and minimal disruption, including our one‑week modernization approach – extending asset life while keeping your buildings running. And with over 85% of today’s buildings still in use in Europe in 2050, we know extending asset life while keeping buildings running is critical for you. That means modernization is also sustainable – with targeted modernization able to cut embodied carbon emissions by up to 78%.

Our breakthrough innovations

KONE UltraRope®

KONE UltraRope®

This super-light hoisting technology is made with a carbon fiber core and high-friction coating that reduces moving mass and energy use, enabling future elevator travel heights of up to 1,000 meters.

  • KONE EcoDisc® and technician

    KONE MonoSpace® and KONE EcoDisc®

We revolutionized the industry in 1996 by introducing MonoSpace, the world’s first machine-room-less elevator. It is enabled by our compact disc-shaped KONE EcoDisc, a motorized traction system flat enough to be located in the elevator shaft. EcoDisc was renewed in 2026 to boosts energy efficiency while helping deliver a smooth, quiet ride in a more space-efficient design. Since their launch these innovations have continued to evolve with improvements in energy efficiency and performance.
