KONE Corporation, a global leader in the
elevator and escalator industry, has been ranked as the 15th most
sustainable company in Europe by Corporate Knights, a leading
sustainable business magazine and ranking organization. KONE is the
only company in the elevator and escalator industry on the Europe
50 Most Sustainable Companies list.
This is the first time Corporate Knights publishes the Europe 50
Most Sustainable Companies ranking. The ranking evaluates companies
based on 25 key performance indicators, covering environmental,
social, governance, and economic metrics. Companies eligible for
the Europe 50 ranking include all members of the STOXX Europe 600
Index, as well as the top 100 publicly traded companies
headquartered in Europe.
