Case overview
Markthal Rotterdam is the Netherlands' first indoor food market and one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. The mixed-use development combines a market hall, apartments, a cooking school, gourmet boutiques, a supermarket, and Rotterdam's largest downtown underground parking facility under one roof. To support the movement of around seven million visitors annually, KONE delivered a tailored package of elevators, escalators, and maintenance services.
