Case overview
Boston's TD Garden is one of the premier sports and entertainment arenas in the United States and home to the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics. Following a major renovation, KONE helped create a unique smart lobby experience for premium ticket holders, combining access control, ticketing, destination control, and elevator technology into one seamless journey from parking garage to seat.

Redefining the customer experience
When Delaware North renovated TD Garden, the goal was to create a more personalized and efficient experience for premium guests. Previous access routes required visitors to navigate busy parking areas, use stairs, pass through security checkpoints, and wait for elevators before reaching their seats.
Working closely with the arena operator and Ticketmaster, KONE developed a fully integrated smart lobby that streamlines the entire arrival experience. Premium ticket holders can now move smoothly from reserved parking spaces through access control and directly to their destination floor with minimal waiting and intuitive guidance throughout the journey.
