The KONE TranSys DX is a machine room-less elevator built for demanding freight and passenger transport in environments such as data centers, warehouses, shopping centers, hospitals, and industrial facilities. It combines exceptional lifting power with built-in cloud connectivity for smarter, more efficient operation.  

The KONE TranSys DX supports a maximum load of 5,000 kg (53 persons) at speeds up to 1 m/s, with a maximum travel of 40 meters or 12 floors.

A machine-room-less elevator was first invented and brought to the market by KONE over 30 years ago. It stores all its machinery inside the elevator shaft, so no separate machine room is needed. The MonoSpace 4 DX also requires less pit depth and headroom, freeing up space in the building for extra apartments, wider corridors, or other uses.

The TranSys DX comes with built-in cloud connectivity as part of KONE's DX Class. KONE 24/7 Connected Services uses IoT sensors to monitor the elevator around the clock, collecting data on usage, speed, and performance. This enables predictive maintenance - identifying potential issues before they cause disruptions and dispatching technicians proactively when needed.
