Sustainable Change Rooted in Rural Communities

KONE India donated a Bolero vehicle to the District Child Protection Unit in Chengalpattu, handed over by M.P. Saravanan to District Collector Tmt. D. Sneha, I.A.S. This vehicle will strengthen child rescue operations, enabling swift response for missing or vulnerable children. The initiative reflects KONE’s commitment to health, safety, and the protection of children.

Through a holistic Model Village Approach, we are driving progress in three villages, impacting 3,200 families. This includes improvements in healthcare, education, sanitation, and sustainable livelihoods—creating self-sustaining, empowered communities.

In Pune, our projects promote eco-conscious living through water conservation, solid waste management, renewable energy, and sustainable farming. These community-driven efforts are shaping resilient, environmentally responsible rural societies.

Access to sanitation is a basic human right. Our initiative to construct community toilets in Sriperumbudur ensures better hygiene, especially for women and children, supporting a healthier and more dignified living environment.
