2016-02-25 KONE wins order for the upcoming Taikang Mansion high-rise in Beijing (3)

KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has won an order to supply 56 elevators and escalators for the ambitious Taikang headquarters project in Beijing called the Beijing Taikang Mansion. Located at the cross of Jing Hui Avenue and East Jin He Road, the Beijing Taikang Mansion will be situated in Beijing's Chaoyang district. Spread across 8,427 square meters once completed, the building will consist of 45 floors above ground, including a podium with four floors and six underground floors.

In total, KONE will deliver 34 KONE MiniSpace(TM) elevators, 10 KONE MonoSpace® elevators and 12 KONE TravelMaster(TM) escalators. These state-of-the-art solutions will also include 25 elevator units that will reach speeds of 4 m/s, and eight units that can reach speeds of 6 m/s. All elevators will be connected to the KONE E-Link(TM) system for seamless and real-time monitoring of its performance.

The Beijing Taikang Mansion is developed by TaikangWeiye Investment Co. Ltd and is expected to be completed by December 2018.

The order was booked in the fourth quarter of 2015.
