Listing of Kone B shares and option rights to end on 31 May, 2005

Kone Corporation will on 1 June, 2005 be demerged into two, new stock exchange listed corporations, KONE Corporation (New KONE) and Cargotec Corporation (Cargotec).

The last trading day of Kone Corporation class B shares and series A and B option rights is 31 May, 2005. No after market II trading will take place on the morning of 1 June, 2005 in the demerging corporation’s shares and option rights.
Trade in New KONE and Cargotec class B shares and A and B series Option Rights will commence on the Main List of the Helsinki Stock Exchange on June 1, 2005.
