  • Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) illustrate the environmental impact during the entire lifetime of our elevators and escalators. In 2024, we published six new EPDs and in total held 27 third-party verified EPDs, which is the highest number in the industry.
  • We identified our suppliers who account for the majority of our scope 3 emissions from purchased goods, and actively collaborate with them to reduce carbon emissions.

2023

  • In June, we became the first in the industry to achieve carbon neutral manufacturing units globally in our all 10 units. This achievement showcases KONE's dedication to its climate pledge and ensuring best-in-class supply chain operations globally.
