Terms of KONE option rights 2005A, 2005B, 2005C and 2007 amended

After KONE Corporations’ Annual General Meeting on February 25, 2008 approved the share issue without payment, the terms of the company’s option rights 2005A, 2005B, 2005C and 2007 have been amended as follows:

Each 2005A and 2005B option right entitles its holder to subscribe for twelve (12) KONE class B shares at the subscription price of EUR 4.02 per share.

Each 2005C and 2007 option right entitles to a subscription of two (2) KONE class B shares. After the Annual General Meeting on February 25, 2008 decided on a distribution of profits, the subscription price of a KONE class B share to be subscribed with the 2005C option rights is EUR 12.55 per share and with the 2007 option rights EUR 24.795 per share. The subscription price for shares to be subscribed with 2005C and 2007 option rights will be reduced in accordance with the terms of the options in special cases and periods as specified in the terms.
