Cybersecurity objectives
Cybersecurity is our top priority. Every day, in every part of our organization we work toward our goal to keep People Flow resilient from cyber threats. We understand why and how to act and proactively embrace cybersecure practices.
Our cybersecurity objectives are to:
- Ensure customer trust by adopting good security practices
- Improve cybersecurity skills, behavior and culture across the company bycontinuous education
- Reduce risk by around-the-clock monitoring and resilience to react toadverse situations
Cybersecurity commitment
We design our solutions and processes to enable us to conduct our business in a secure and sustainable manner and consistently apply the KONE cybersecurity management system in all our activities. Complying with the laws and regulations of the societies and other requirements in which we operate is the starting point for our business operations. We apply industry best practices and embed cybersecurity and privacy into our digital solutions.
At KONE, we are all personally responsible and accountable for making sure that both ourselves and others affected by our work are safe from cyber threats. We follow KONE’s policies, standards and processes in our everyday work, and report potential security incidents promptly.
All KONE leaders are responsible for providing their teams with the necessary means for working securely. They lead by example, make sure their teams are regularly trained, ensure accountability and drive for cybersecurity improvements. KONE management is committed to taking ownership of and being accountable for KONE’s cybersecurity policy.
