KONE's share capital increases through subscription of shares with 2004 A option rights

Based on the KONE 2004 A option rights, 17,130 new KONE class B shares have been subscribed.

The Finnish Board of Patents and Registration has on 10 December, 2004 entered the corresponding 17,130.00 euro increase of KONE Corporation’s share capital into the Trade Register. Trading of the new shares will start on 13 December, 2004. The shares acquired qualify for dividend payment for the financial year 2004, and other rights related to the shares commence on the date when the increase in the share capital is entered in the Trade Register.
The KONE 2004 A option rights are listed on the main list of the Helsinki Exchanges. Subscription of shares with the option rights commenced on 1 April, 2004, and to date 194,970 shares have been subscribed. The maximum number of shares that can be subscribed with the 2004 A option rights is 435,390 shares.
KONE’s share capital is 63,658,590.00 euro after the entry, comprising 54,132,501 listed class B shares and 9,526,089 unlisted class A shares.
