Speaking up and doing the right thing is at the heart of KONE’s culture. We build a supportive environment where employees are encouraged to speak up about compliance concerns confidently and without fear of retaliation, using our secure KONE Compliance Line.
We uphold a strict zero-tolerance policy on bribery and corruption. We have established a comprehensive anti-bribery and corruption (ABC) program and published a dedicated policy to guide our employees in navigating risky ABC situations. As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen our ethical culture, we have rolled out a global ABC training in 2025. We are also a member of an anti-bribery network led by the Ministry of Justice in Finland.
KONE is committed to respecting and endorsing internationally recognized labor and human rights standards. We continuously assess and address potential human rights risks, with our supplier sustainability team leading human rights assessments on site and online.
We expect our suppliers and distributors to respect human rights and adhere to high ethical and environmental standards. All our suppliers and installation subcontractors are expected to sign KONE’s Supplier and Distributor Code of Conduct.
By maintaining high ethical standards and a culture of accountability, KONE leads by example – building trust throughout our entire value chain. We continuously track and measure our efforts to ensure we meet our goals.
Our achievements in 2024:
